  1. Validation process

Personal investor account

The personal validation process is a crucial step to ensure the legitimacy and compliance of all participants in the new B.V. established through the Digital Notary. This process includes several key components:

  1. Validation Form:

    • Each individual must fill in a validation form. This form collects essential personal and financial information necessary for the verification process.

  2. Onfido Identification:

    • Individuals are required to complete identity verification through Onfido. This involves uploading personal identification documents, such as a passport or driver's license, and providing proof of address to confirm their identity.

  3. Bank Details Verification via SurePay:

    • To ensure the legitimacy of the financial information provided, individuals must verify their bank details through SurePay. This step confirms that the bank account is valid and linked to the individual.

  4. PEP Check via ComplyAdvantage:

    • A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) check is conducted via ComplyAdvantage. This check ensures that individuals are not involved in any high-risk political activities that could pose a risk to the company.

By completing these steps, the Digital Notary ensures that all individuals involved in the B.V. are thoroughly verified, maintaining the integrity and compliance of the company formation process. This comprehensive validation process helps protect the company and its stakeholders from potential legal and financial risks.
